Tagplay supports content such as live video & audio, video, photos, photo & video galleries, text, gif, links & event posts.

1. Make a rule-based formula

Create rule-based content routing formulas for feeds on a website that you host using our wizard or formula box. Use all content posted on a social media account or channel or selectively pick content using hashtags in formulas.

Your feed

Connect your social media accounts, Facebook Workplace groups, Slack channels or e-mail addresses and make a formula. E.g. “When mybusiness posts #tag send to a feed on my website.”

User-generated feed

Pick a hashtag or hashtags allowing other users with public accounts to contribute to a feed through content on Instagram and Twitter. E.g. “When anyone posts #tag on Instagram send to a feed on my website.”

You can also pick certain public accounts on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter that contribute to your feed through hashtags. E.g. “When justinbieber or selenagomez posts #tag on Instagram send to a feed on my website.” Alternatively, gather your visitors' posts from your Facebook Page. Share posts you see on Facebook to your page or group to post them to your website.

2. Integrate into a website

Simply copy & paste a code for the the feed you made onto a website. For more advanced customization, use our CSS widget styling guide or API.

You can easily copy & paste the code to Wordpress, tumblr, Blogger, Drupal, HTML+JS, Weebly, Squarespace, WIX, etc.

3. Set up a display

Pick a look and make a display that will be updated by Workplace groups, social media accounts or email.

Open the link to your event display in a browser and make it full screen on a smart TV or connect a laptop, tablet, Apple TV, ChromeCast, Raspberry Pi, Firestick, etc.

Enjoy beautiful, rotating displays that sync to your Facebook Workplace, Slack or social media accounts and are never out-of-date.

4. Add content using social media tools

Add new content to your website by activating the formula using the chosen #tag on social media or via e-mail.

Facebook

Add content to your website using your Facebook Profile, Pages or Groups.

Twitter, Instagram & YouTube

Add content to your website using a #tag to send content from your social media account to your website. On Instagram and Twitter, you can also let “anyone” with a public account, or only certain accounts, contribute content through a certain #tag.

Workplace

Add content to your feed by posting to certain Facebook Workplace group(s) by mentioning @tagplay to activate the bot. You can use #tag or allow only certain users in the group to post to feeds, and delete posts within Workplace or comment #remove on them to remove them from your Tagplay feeds. See here how to integrate.

Slack

Add content to your feed by mentioning the @tagplay bot in a Slack channel or sending a direct message to the bot. Feeds can take in only messages with certain #tags or by certain users in the Slack workspace. Edit or delete messages within Slack to automatically edit or delete the post in your Tagplay feeds. See here how to integrate.

Email

Add content to your website using email. Specify in your formula which email addresses should be allowed to send to a certain feed, or allow anyone who knows the address. Add content by putting a certain #tag in the subject to activate the formula, entering your content into the body of the email, and sending it to *@m.tagplay.co.

5. Have full control over your website and display

Easily remove and update content within social media or on Tagplay

Moderation within Tagplay

You can also always remove any content from your website through Tagplay. You can even ban certain users from contributing content to a user-generated feed and filter posts using certain words.

Post on your site privately using Tagplay, email, secret Facebook or Workplace groups, or Slack direct messages.

Within Tagplay you can have multiple admins for projects and feeds. You can also choose whether to require posts to be approved before they appear in the feed.
